Where I can find this camera + supplies?
You know the old-fashioned, vintage camera used for photography and photo shoots then in the 1950s and 60s? Any online store (not eBay) ** WORKING ** selling vintage cameras and supplies? What I need to supply a high quality camera (but not too expensive) I need a cheap but still looks like a photograph of time. Thanks
Actually, eBay is a wonderful place for older cameras. Just watch out for a couple of things before buying: - Check the seller's feedback. Do not buy anyone with less than 99%, or 98% if you're lucky. - Look at their return policies. Can return if not working properly? Make sure. - Use your common sense. Is this guy looks as if he knew anything about the cameras? Does it look as if it were in good condition? Can this man not even talk English? I bought several cameras over eBay's largest sellers all from high good feedback. These images do not work, but if you want a piece serious photographic equipment, look no further than a view camera Graflex Crown Graphic 4x5, or a similar Tachihara (much better quality Graflex). They take a certain ability to use and produce incredible images, but certainly look old. If you want only a 35 mm, check out Zorki and FED: two of my favorite brands of camera Russia of the 50s and 60s. These old cameras are impressive, not just work well, but they just look COOL. And, they are cheap (some just $ 40 to $ 60). For film and supplies, you can get anything you need www.freestylephoto.biz, photo shop best deal out there. They have some good representatives could probably understand exactly what you need, too, haha. Hope this helps!
