Entrepreneurial Journey to Success

As you are on your journey of life you have heard different teachers and leaders you have learned essential information that you will apply in your working life. As you progress and become more experienced in a particular field, there are three important components to apply and do in your continued educational career.

Put yourself in the position to listen to great speakers

Various organizations in Toronto  that have symposium and seminars throughout the year (www.enterprisetoronto.com ,www.bizlaunch.ca) topics on business and roundtable discussions are held by professionals in various fields. Be proactive, make notes and engage the speakers with questions and feedback. This is the arena where relevant information is shared and discussed. Learning great stories of success and from others experience on their journey of success.

In the last few years have heard Jack Welch, T Harv Ecker, Alvin Law, Robert T. Kiyosaki dynamics speakers from different industries talking about business, life and success and how to they achieved there success and how they dealt with their failures, through the teaching and training I constantly apply and teach their principles.

Read biographies on people of success

Learn for great leaders from the past (Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy) and from the present (Donald Trump, Jack Welch) they all have had experiences when they began there success and how the keep moving forward to big and better business ventures. Many of the leaders have had similar experience and you will learn how the dealt with them and what they learned as they went through it at the time.

During the past couple of years I have read many biographies from Living the Good Life (David Patchell-Evans founder of Good Life Fitness Clubs) Gretzky (Gretzky & Taylor), Business As Unusual (Anita Roddick, founder of Body Shop)

Associate with people of success.

As you got out and meet entrepreneurs and business leaders you begin to grow your own network of professionals in different industries. Many may become lifelong friends and some may become partners in business ventures and others will be mentors and leaders that you will aspire to learn and become as successful as they have been.

Early in networking career I met Internet Pioneer who had a successful not-for-profit organization, quickly realized his experience and knowledge and began to participating in symposiums and seminars as a volunteer and as months and years went by did marketing and promoting which included some digital photography. Currently doing talks on Mentorship and teaching other volunteers and professionals about the learning experience it was to participating in organizations in the community.

When Toronto native, Sydney Templeton's life hit the doldrums because it became too routine, he decided to volunteer at a jail that housed inmates who were either denied bail during their trials or who were awaiting sentencing. While visiting, the chaplain realized that he had an uncanny way of getting the inmates to talk and because of the progress he made, was allowed regular visits with three inmates: Andre, a contract killer, Bobby a fraudster and Xavier, who operated a grow-operation from his home. All three men were glad for Sydney's company but unknowing to them, they were slowly awakening Sydney's dark side and all of the latent desires that he had. With what he learned from them, he was successfully able to pull off the crime of the century in Toronto. Volume II, will detail Sydney's fall, the death of his family and his subsequent incarceration, only because he failed to learn the lesson the inmates were trying to impart to him: Greed is man's biggest downfall.
