Fashion Photography lighting?

Now im only 14, and am very into fashion photography, and at the moment i am using 1000w halogen work lights for lighting as they are cheap and very bright. In a few months i am looking into getting some better lights, continuous would be best. I found these online which look pretty good, (http://www.backdropsource.co.uk/Productinfo.asp?id=711&pname=2000-watts-quartz-softbox-kit) but if anyone knows of any cheapish kits which would work well please say! Any comments appreciated!

For around $200 you can buy a 750 watt Lowel Tota-light with umbrella and stand and then use a 42 inch reflector for your fill. I just looked for Lowel lights in the UK and found that they do not sell the kit I was referring to.
