I am really into photography and am wanting to buy my first good camera...I want a digital SLR...?
What kind of camera do you recommend and what kind of lenses?
I want to take pictures of dogs, flowers, and people...I really like when their is a main subject and then the background is out of focus.
I also want something that I can take pictures of things in motion without it getting blurry...any ideas
I also would like to stay under $800
For $650 you can get a Nikon D50 with a Nikon 18-55mm zoom. Add $100 for a 2GB Sandisk Extreme lll memory card and you've got a good camera, well within budget.
If you don't mind going a little over budget, replace the 18-55mm lens with the much better Nikon 18-70mm zoom. (And perhaps economise a bit by getting only a 1GB Sandisk Ultra ll card.)
The Canon 350D and Nikon D70 are also tempting, but your money is better spent on upgrading the lens - that's what determines your image quality.
