Basics photographer? what is meant by composition, photographic technique, and the meaning of that image?

Interesting that you received the letter even though you are not a photographer. There three important skills that you need to be a photographer. Technical support - being able to use any camera, anywhere at any time. creative - learn how elements compose a picture that appeals to the target audience. Business - to be able to market the images produced by the tools the photographer. The technical aspect usually takes at least two years of formal education, about five years working as a staff photographer or assistant to finalize all the skills acquired while in school and continuing education as technology grows.
