How to make money with photography

There are many ways to make money online with photography, but a popular and relatively new way is through Micro web site photography.

Micro stock photography is simply stock photography, sold at deep discounts. Customers are able to license Stock Photo, for just $ 1 or $ 2, and photographers to make money every time a customer chooses one of his photos.

Micro stock photography can be considered still in its infancy, and some people feel it's wrong to sell photography at such low prices. Particularly since many professional photographers invest much time and money on the computer, learning, and photo shoots.

For the beginning photographer though, the agency micro stock photography can be ideal places to start. As entry requirements are too restrictive, many hobby photographers with inexpensive cameras have begun to make a second nice income from their pictures.

How Does It Work?

The process of making money from your photography through micro stock agencies is fairly simple.

1. Research agencies popular micro stock photography online. There are very few of them, but you want to start with only one or two until you get the hang of things.

2. Choose your utmost to present images. Some agencies require you to submit 10 pictures for review when applied for an account with them, while others require only three for the first time. Most do not have minimum requirements though, and you can start by filing of one.

3. Your photos will be reviewed by humans, and accepted or rejected in the micro stock photography site. If accepted, will be available for customers to "buy".

Technically they are not fully buying your pictures though. They are simply the images of award licenses for specific uses. Stock Photography generally used in micro websites, although sometimes used in advertisements, brochures and other marketing materials. The photographer always retains full copyrights to their photos though, and usually able to sell the same pictures over and over again to additional clients.

And this is the beauty of stock photography. Once you have taken a big picture that has been accepted into a stock photography portfolio, a picture can continue earning money month after month ... sometimes year after year.

Most stock photography agencies pay Micro $ 0.20 - $ 0.50 per license of the image, or download. This may not seem like much, however, a good photographer with several hundred pictures for sale could make a second payment of Nice with time, because it all adds up!
