  • Why is marketing & brand identity so important?
  • What are the advantages of different forms of marketing?
  • Are certain types of marketing better for different types of clients?
  • How many hits does it take on average to elicit a response?
ASMP/NC proudly presents the following for our Interactive Marketing Panel on Thursday, March 22:

Louisa Curtis
Louisa Curtis, ADBASE & Chatterbox

Louisa is a creative consultant based in New York City. After spending a number of years in the commercial photography industry, she formed "Chatterbox Enterprises" to offer photographers a variety of creative consulting services — ranging from portfolio and image reviews to customized marketing packages designed to help refine your vision, target the appropriate audience as well as create and implement an Internet-driven business plan. Louisa also works as an event coordinator, seminar speaker, and marketing consultant for ADBASE and recently wrote an article for a new online magazine, Mactribe, entitled “Alternative Repping.”

Tom Tinervin
Tom Tinervin, Digital Railroad

Tom is the Director of ASP Sales for Digital Railroad. Digital Railroad is committed to empowering the community of photographers, agencies, and image buyers with its trusted technology so they can focus on what they love — being creative.  Prior to Digital Railroad, Tom worked for both Corbis and Getty Images in sales and photo assignments.  And before that, Tom founded OmniFineArt and OmniGuard, an art publishing and underwriting service offering limited-edition art from the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Louisa Curtis
Jon Lucich, liveBooks

Jon is a successful photographer turned Sales Executive for liveBooks, working out of the headquarters office in San Francisco. Jon's understanding of the life and challenges of running a photography business help him provide consultation to photographers looking for new ways to streamline their digital workflow and leverage the power of the Internet to grow their businesses. Prior to joining the liveBooks team in June of 2006, Jon owned and operated Jon Lucich Photography for 16 years shooting Advertising and Editorial assignments both in studio and on location throughout the United States and Europe. This business serviced a diverse clientele including Starbucks, Microsoft, Visa, Saturn and Vogue Magazine.

Margo Pinkerton, Moderator

Margo has held assorted positions over the years at the regional and national board level of ASMP as well as with various other organizations.  She has been a guest speaker and moderator at many photo, design, & museum venues and given numerous photo workshops. Margo is currently a co-president of ASMP/North Carolina.

Door Prizes

We have terrific door prizes for this event. In addition to a discount certificate from Southeastern Camera and a certificate for a copy of BlinkBid's estimating and invoicing software, one of the items in the Silent Auction, chosen at random, will be added to the Door Prize list. Obviously, one has to be present to win! And don't forget your business card to put into the drawing!

Silent Auction

Several vendors have been very generous in donating items for our Silent Auction. Yes, you do have to be present to win, as this is a fabulous opportunity to bid on some very valuable items, including:

The Silent Auction will close promptly at 6:50, and the announcements will be made about the winners before we start our meeting promptly at 7:00.
