Going completely digital capture in 1992, his award winning digital photography has been featured in, among others, Graphis Photo, Print, Archive Magazine, Create Magazine, Creativity, Rangefinder, Professional Photographer, Photo Electronic Imaging, Digital Output Magazine, Digital Imaging, Photo District News, and After Capture Magazine. Jim has lectured before audiences at Photoshopworld, Seybold, Photo Plus Expo, Imaging USA, MAC Design, HOW Design, Orvieto Fotographia, Photo Fusion, APA, ASMP, WPPI, and World Council of Professional Photographers. He has made presentations to students and faculty at art schools nationwide, including Brooks Institute, San Francisco's Academy of Art, and The Portfolio Center.
We can always use helpful hints to speed up our digital workflow and be more efficient and effective in our tasks. To that end, Jim will demonstrate problem-solving techniques using digital capture and Photoshop that apply to every field of graphic arts. Using the procedures and processing workflow that have been developed for commercial photography clients, Jim will explain how to streamline the digital imaging process from color management setup, to alternative file enhancement techniques to improve quality and save time.
